I often wonder what would have happened had TJ Ford not hurt his neck and decided to turn pro after his sophomore season. Actually, I know what would have happened - Texas would have won the national title. Absolutely no doubt in my mind. Ford, returning with Buckman, Boddicker, Ivey, and Mouton would have cut down the nets. Ford did what he had to do, though, and he remains my favorite UT hoops star of all time. As such, our Highlights Section is totally incomplete without a tribute to Mr. Ford.
