looks like k-state is gonna beat kansas
strange, a bit concerning

but revenge shall be had for Colt if it happens.

concerning?

Snyder is a bit problematic and has been known to thieve these games. emotion only lasts so long…then it is down to running from the Legion of Boom!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm trying to remember if he's ever been a problem for Mack

I know Prince beat UT in those crap games, but has Snyder?

concerning definitely the wrong word

I am not at all worried about playing KSU. Just a bad taste in my mouth. i remember that night, being livid after we lost.

ku's descent has been rapid and thorough
K-State wins 17-10

yeahh… I don’t care about history. I am not worried about losing to them in the Big 12 CG

not worried either

but they do still have Colt’s number. it will be nice to take it back on the way to Cali.

Iowa losing was inevitable

and it will happen again. Goodbye Hawkeyes. Thanks for that little run.

Final: KSU-17 KU-10

KSU still controls their own destiny to the Big 12 title game

Here comes three hours of Verne engulfing the SEC
Link to the Alabama-LSU game

here (if you cannot get it at your home)

thanks for that
Tracy Wolfson

Nice burntorangesweater! Perfect to interview Saban. Now go across the field and find Less.

This post is useless without pics.
what a horrible spot
big balls didnt go for it on fourth and inches?

someones off their game..

CU hits a FG

Aggie up 21-13.

Navy up on Notre Dame 14-0!
Replay booth powered down for now

This could get interesting in the SEC?

cheating by refs now with no recourse
I got my DVR turned on

tell Lessmiles I’ll send it in if he wants.

SEC:

Where our offense is the other team’s best defense

LSU d is crazy athletic....can't get off field on third and long so far, though. That fumble heldped, however
Ingram getting hit in the facemask on the snap

Very Heismanish!

His Heisman highlight film out to have Yackety Sax as the audio track
LSU shooting themselves in the foot

I can’t remember correctly. Was that the Barksdale who snubbed Texas?

here comes another brutal Alabama game...

is there a top team less fun to watch?

It's like gay porn

It’s lumpy and misshapen, pretty ugly, and not my thing at all, yet somehow it has a bigger market.

lol Wow. Nice.

lumpy and misshapen, pretty ugly

Cody the FG Blocker?

atm gets the touchdown

Christine Michael puts aggie ahead of Coloradded.

Stanford up 10-7 on Oregon

6:20 1st

Andrew Luck and Toby Gerhart will expose some weaknesses in UO's defense

Not sure Stanford will pull off the upset, but Harbaugh runs a fundamentally sound program that can probably show teams down the road how to beat the Ducks.

i know nothing about Stanford

but from what I know about OR is the lead probably won’t last.

Stanford with another TD....21 pts in first qtr. Oregon D??
Andrew Luck's an amazing talent, and Gerhart's a great back

Luck is a Texas boy who could’ve gone almost anywhere, but chose to play for Harbaugh. He’s unrefined at this point, but his talent as a prototypical pocket passer is terrific. Those kinds of guys can expose a defense when they’re on, or have a so-so game when they’re off.

Also, overrated defenses like Oregon’s can look pretty tasty to a team like Stanford, who’s looking for an upset against a team that is probably pretty full of themselves coming into today.

good to know

Iowa out of the pic, Oregon may lose, BSU in another close one in that crap conf. I suspect TCU will run on SDS.

It’s thinning…

still trying to figure out what chad jones was doing on the pass play
LSU is making me a believer....their O isn't great, but their D is good enough to keep them in games
option running all over alabama
Geaux Tigers! First on the board.
Are SEC defensive backs really that bad...

Wow. Everything is open in the intermediate to deep passing game for both teams.

Im torn...

dont know who I want to win this game…revenge for baseball could be a nice fit.

Let the baseball team take care of their revenge

And enjoy any pain that comes to Saban

my in-laws are huge Tide fans

we’ve been hoping for a Texas v Bama NC since we got married 8 years ago. I hope it happens, and that we beat the living crap out of them.

Root for the possibility of a one-loss SEC champ fighting it out with Cincy or TCU for the championship game
It seems like the SEC LB's

are having a horrible timekeeping up with the short crossing routes. Are they just slow, matchup problems, what?

Can't believe it

SEC CBS commentators actually calling out an SEC team’s offense!?

Woohoo

Another Stanford touchdown. I might have to click around and see if I have that game on tv.

Are there going to be any top-tier programs that might want to lure Harbaugh?
Possibly the NFL

But I don’t think Harbaugh’s the type to go for, say, a big SEC school. He played at Michigan, and he even publicly poo-poo’d THEIR academics about a year ago.

Would he be a good fit at Notre Dame?

If this Navy score holds up, that immediately becomes a realisitic job opening again.

Good candidate

Hope he doesn’t go there, though. I like Harbaugh.

bet that ND gets Brian Kelly from Cincy
Possible meltdown for Aggies

CU needs a TD to get the lead

And they got it!

70 yards in two plays

"Colorado needs a TD to get the lead"

If that’s the case, then they’ve already lost.

Disregard that!

Awesome turn of events!

Baylor down by 3 to Mizzou; 15:00 4th
holy crap, what's happening with Oregon?

Stanford got the ball back in about three seconds.

They're trying to do an Iowa and come back from an early deficit
Navy up on ND 14-0
Good night, Aggies!

So our “toughest opponent remaining” just lost to CU.

This was a road game...but still.

Losing to Colorado? That’s low.

not over yet
over now.

pooooooooooooorrrrrrr
aaaaaaaaaaaagiiiiiiiiieeeeeesssss!

Heisman front runner Jerrod Johnson

throws in INT. Aggies lose LOL. John Lopez where are you?

can't wait to hear YUMC's bullshit after this one

agrosuck

Colorado fans rush the field after every win.
both of them?
How sad . . .

CU students storming the field after beating A&M.

I'm sure YUMC will come here and tell us

That even still, if A&M wins the rest of their games, the Aggies will win the Big 12 South. Because North games don’t count, apparently.

I still think someone's playing a practical joke with the "YUMC" identity
See you Next Year

Ok Ok y’all were right all along. We’re not back yet, Texas Tech win was a fluke. We will be better next year. But I am not giving up on the Thanksgiving day possibility of a surprise yet.

Baylor up 33-29 on Mizzou
oh, beautiful!
So, if Mizzou and Nebraska lose today, then KSU needs to win just one more game to clinch the Big XII North?

Or am I reading that wrong…?

No.

If Nebraska loses today, they’ll be 2-3 and KSU will be 4-2. But Nebraska still has KSU on the schedule so if they win out, they’ll finish with, at worst, the same record as KSU and will have the head-to-head win for the tiebreaker.

Gotcha, for some reason I thought Nebraska was already 2-3 in conference.
31 points for Stanford in 24 minutes
lol beergut just banned me from 12th man

for saying “haha whoops” after JJ threw a pick.

granted i was warned for talking shit there before, but that is a bit heavy handed. must be takin it pretty hard over there

Aggies stuck at 5 wins

At OU, Baylor, Texas are final three.

Looks like Baylor game will be to become bowl eligible.

Navy up 20-7 on ND

Beautiful.

Enjoy the meltdown

I'm a big fan of this thread posted before the Colorado game...

http://www.texags.com/main/forum.reply.asp?topic_id=1517767&forum_id=5

ahahahahahha, golden

it’s like theyre actively trying to sound delusional

Just read that

I was about to post the link too. Classic.

Sometimes I wonder

how many of these posters are actually Aggie fans and not trolls from other fanbases posing as Aggies to make them look bad haha

I used to think this,

but then I met a few of these ring-wearin’ former corps turd TexAg posters here in H-town, and realized they really are every bit as delusional as they appear. Some things never change, especially in Collie Station.

+1

like i said, special brand of crazy they’re selling down there

One half done

Still not convinced McElroy can beat LSU.

Gonna have to be on Ingram in second half.

Alabama and the red zone

just don’t get along.

Leigh Tiffin for Maxwell Award!
mcelroy is just not a quarterback.

period.

As I've said in the past

It’s downright embarrassing that he’s counted among the Texas QBs starting in FBS

it almost seems that Ingram is only getting heisman love

because hes the only one on that offense moving the ball. they have to find someone on the team by default given the their ranking.

Um, Baylor is beating Mizzou 40-29....

Aggies might have some trouble with the rejuvenated Bears.

Oregon lovers on this board: look at your dominant oregon team facing the might cardinals!
Boise State is in a no win situation

They can’t cheer against Oregon, but if Oregon wins out, they most likely leap the Broncos.

I still don’t think that will happen. Personally I believe as long as BSU remains undefeated oregon will never leap them

Well this has nothing to do with what we were saying about Oregon.

And notwithstanding that, Stanford’s a hell of a lot better than Louisiana Tech, which BSU struggled like crazy with last night (only up 3 with 10 minutes to go).

I thought he was refering to the post

about who you don’t want to face in the championship. That was the first thing I thought of when I saw that score.

I don't think it's a bunch of "Oregon lovers" here

Everyone’s arguments this week in the Boise-Oregon debate remain valid despite this weekend’s results. We were all debating based on the evidence at hand.

Except that most ignored the most obvious evidence at hand:

1. That BSU beat up Oregon
2. That BSU had a better record than Oregon

Well that's just not true.

We just didn’t value those particular facts as much as some other particular facts. You can’t say that your value system of valuing facts is better than mine, nor can you say that I was ignoring facts. It’s just flat-out wrong.

Regardless, I’m not getting into this now.

I agree that Oregons wins compared to Boise wins, Oregons wins are more impressive. But the huge factor that I am still considering is the head-to-head undefeated argument (like burntorangehorn said). With that said, I really really dont think that Oregon will move ahead of Boise if both teams win out. I just dont see it happening. And if you think about it, wouldnt Oregon have jumped Boise by this point (even after beating USC?)

Oregon already moved ahead of BSU

Which is a real shame, IMO.

not in USA today and BCS rankings they havent

So were style points more valuable than head-to-head and wins?

PEOPLE! Let's not reopen this now!
I've made my argument ad nauseum and i'm not going to rehash it over and over again.

Bullet-point and then I’m done.
1. I saw that BSU/Oregon game differently than some other people did. I saw it as two teams playing poorly and Oregon playing more poorly. BSU wasn’t impressive.
2. BSU has played absolutely no one other than Oregon and has struggled against both Tulsa and Louisiana Tech.
3. Oregon has played good teams and beaten the crap out of them.
4. So….BSU has 1 poorly-played win against a good team, nothing else particularly good, plus 2 game struggling against bad teams. Oregon has a poorly-played loss against a good team, plus a bunch of big wins against good teams.

To me, that equals Oregon over BSU. To you, it might not. That’s fine. But please don’t tell me that I have to value one game more than the entire rest of the season just because you happen to think it’s more important.

I’m done with this.

I think we discuss this here more than the Boise State blog does

We truly are obsessed with college football.

BSU held Oregon without a first down until midway through 3RD QUARTER

It was a royal azz whupping.

I love the sound of boos at South Bend
Nick Florence stat line

32/43, 427 yards, three touchdowns.

Uh… nice defense there, Missouri.

Another interesting stat

Baylor: 30 yards rushing
Mizzou: 7 yards rushing

Baylor: 427 yards passing
Mizzou: 428 yards passing

It’s like they’re playing Madden.

Irish turnovers

making me laugh out loud.

Navy up 21-7, on the verge of scoring again
Go Navy

F notre lame

Meanwhile, TCU's crushing another foe
what time is it in south bend?

is it this late already?

penn even* too much channel flipping.
Love watching the triple option of Navy
Okie State

taking out last weeks loss in ISU

20-0 with 9 min left and they have the ball

27-0 OSU
better OSU and OU look

the better the B12 looks in the long run and helps the SOS

And that's 9 min left in the 3rd
Nice throw by McElroy

Bama takes lead.

Great

LSU has gone into a shell in the second half

Better hope they get some form of O

Irish BCS dreams,

six minutes from done.

Good news for USC, Boise State, second Big 10 team, and maybe even Oklahoma State.

McElroy

First TD pass in 16 qtrs

Jefferson....twisted ankle....

LSU really needs him to have a chance at winning.

irish back to life

21-13 pending XP

TD Notre Dame

I have no idea why they aren’t trying to double Tate

nevermind, that was Floyd
Like why no one doubles Shipley?
They do
He was double teamed today?

I didn’t see it. Didn’t see it against Missouri either. OU did put a couple on him though.

no one doubles shipley?
T Pryor

5-13 with 60-ish yards

You can sense ND will tie this game

and win in OT. Clausen for Heisman

HUGE first down Navy!
Safety!...10-9 Bama
Like I said earlier

In the SEC, the other team’s offense is the best defense.

BWAHAHAHAH SAFETY

suck it, tide

Safety on Bama
I hate Notre Dame with the fire of 1000 suns.
Dropped pass!

Lucky break for Navy

Not really a heisman throw, Jimmy
No grown man should be called Jimmy
Disagree

Also Hendrix
I hate ND so much it clouds my judgment
Sacked him!

Clausen goes down. Very nice play.

Clausen SACKKK!!!!

4th down

SACK, suck it Irish
Down goes ND!
SAFETY!!!! BALLGAME

Byebye Heisman for Clausen and Tate

Heisman Safety.

Okay, I’m done picking on Jimmy.

Navy

starting to get pretty comfortable in South Bend. Two in a row.

And another heisman contender bites the dust

Colt might win through attrition

Not if Tebow keeps not murdering puppies.
One of the Aggies most important questions

“How can we get out game with TU off TV”

I like the idea of Aggie ninjas

Sheep don't like it, though
there's always the ol' probation option

but too late for this season.

nice hit by the middy linebacker
Scott screwed up his shoulder...
AWESOME crowd in Tuscaloosa

Cheering Roll Tide while Scott on the ground.

Another candybone LSU back
Yeah, but apparently Les Miles can swing a dead cat and find a RB averaging 4.5 per
By the way, I'm supremely pissed that ND recovered on-side kick

It shouldn’t matter, but man, it sucked.

TD Notre Dame. They’re within three, and would have to do it again.

golden tate pic on his stat line..

sure does sparkle.

I am so happy I'm not Charlie Weis' toilet
I'm more glad I'm not his bed

I have it on good authority that he does more of his crapping there.

NAVY recovers!

now that’s ballgame

Cardinal is driving

Team Harbaugh is rolling with Luck. Oregon has kept on responding with touchdowns, now just down 38-28, but Stanford’s drawing out the drives and matriculating the ball down the field.

F ND.
agreed.
It's nice to see the deserving underdog win.
moreover

it’s nice to see Notre Dame lose.

Yeah, I'm always down for that
Tate vs. Shipley

Who’s the Biletnikoff favorite right now?

Probably the one who's on the better team
Ship

273 yards in one game? 24.8 avg?

meant as a reply to matty
Touchdown LSU....

going for 2..

failed PAT

But still, 15-10 Tigers. I despise LSU, but this would be step one in shutting the SEC out of the BCS championship game.

Yep...I want to see what the BCS will do if Florida and LSU lose before the end of the season..
err. Florida and Bama
If LSU wins tonight...

…and then wins out and beats UF in the conference title game, what happens? Would they surpass Cincinnati, TCU, and Boise State?

I would guess that they would
Very small step

Iowa was the best shot to not let a one-loss SEC team into the title game. The Hawkeyes lost and are done.

Now Cincy, TCU, or Boise over one-loss SEC. I. Don’t. Know.

Yeah, would be interesting to see what happens..
My gut says no on BSU

People were already letting Oregon creep up to or ahead of Boise. I also think TCU would be unlikely. I really do think an undefeated Cinci should stay ahead of any one-loss SEC team, though.

Speaking of going for two . . .

BSU scored last night with about 5 minutes to go to go up by 8, pending the conversion. BSU went for two. That’s absolutely the wrong call if one goes by the conversion chart, right?

Yeah, I saw that also....

Definitely the wrong call. Take the PAT and go up 7 is the call..

Not sure about going for 2

I know TDs are hard to come by in the offensively challenged defensive strong SEC, but there’s no great need to go for 2 there. Kick the extra point, and two FGs don’t beat you, and a FG of your own puts you up two scores.

Big TD run for Gerhart

44-28 Stanford, PAT pending

Commentator says don't go for 2

since 2 FGs beat you. Well guess what? If you’re up 6, one TD beats you

Ha. Yes, but they're playing Alabama.

I think 2 FGs are much more likely than a TD from Alabama. He’s just being realistic!

But there's too much time left to give up the sure point

I think you start going by the chart in the 4th

Good day, Aggies, ND already lost

LSU or Bama will lose too

for 2 SCARY sec defenses

it seems like both Os are having their way.. till they get near the 20.

Mclroy crappy throw
He felt the heat on that one
haha, is this YUMC?

http://www.texags.com/main/forum.reply.asp?topic_id=1518282&forum_id=5

Oh wow.

Didn’t realize it, but YUMC actually commented on that thread and laughed at the guy for suggesting it!

Great post:
I do! I also think with McCoy not looking so good today, Ingram not playing well..JJ if the Dept would promote him could get in front for the Heisman.

Head-scratcher.

It may have been sarcasm

but then again, i wouldnt put it past them.

He was a couple bad throws away from 500 yards and three or four TDs

McCoy was obviously not on today.

Noticed that he asked beergut over at the 12thman

He thought we were lying.

Lying about what? A&M's chances of winning the South?
Da.

He didn’t believe losses against the big 12 north counted and beergut had to lead him out of the wilderness.

Think about that for a moment.

Fess up. Who is double-posting as YUMC?
Yeah, I'm not sure he's real either.

If so, well, I’m just glad my childhood dream of being an astronaut didn’t pan out.

The height of delusion.
Another great thread

http://www.texags.com/main/forum.reply.asp?topic_id=1518222&forum_id=5

They think that's a Texas troll.

I think I might agree.

We should really adopt a National Geographic style non-interference policy as a fanbase

They’re so much more entertaining in their natural ecosystem.

This is great though
My heart says we pull the ultimate upset, my head is laughing at my heart
Ingram has to put Bama on his back
I'd like Bama's O-Line
Or scheme
Mostly scheme

I’m not wild about their tackles this year but I’m intensely jealous of their running game.

True

But I’m sure they look at our passing offense with envy too.

True

But Colt or any legitimately good QB would greatly improve their passing offense. The passing offense would never be as good as UT’s, but I think the balance could be superior overall.

Not really a "fire Davis" guy

but I’m sick of seeing our Oline get beat silly every week.

Same

I’d give up a record breaking passing offense for a big boy running game and line scheme. And yes, Davis defenders, I’m certain you can have a great running and passing offense in the same season.

Come on LSU...stop the run and make McElroy beat you...
Toby Gerhart

Is tearing Oregon’s overrated butts a new one. Very nice work.

201 yards rushing on 30 carries.

He’s dominating them.

speaking of which

TCU up 52-12 on SDSU

HA!

Illegal substitution penalty on ’Bama.

3rd and goal from the…what, eight yard line?

I think Oregon deserves a lot of credit for their turnaround

But part of the reason I felt like their win over USC was made a big deal was because of the reputation of USC and not how good they actually were. I felt this USC team was one of the weaker ones in Carrol’s tenure, but when Oregon beat them everyone freaked out. Of course, USC is better than anyone else Boise State has played, but it was amusing to see the media reaction.

LOL at saban losing his shit on the sidelines

classic.

Oooohhh do you go for it here?
no

kick the fg, and count on your defense the refs to get you another series & the V

4th and goal at the LSU 2

So…what does ’Bama do?

Take the three
Yeah, that 12 men on the field penalty stopped this drive from a td..
Between Saban and McElroy I bet Jones can't wait to get to the NFL in 2011
I'm having so much fun at TexAgs.

Aggies: hey, at least we didn’t get blown out!

And now they think they have a chance against OU. Wow. McCoy and Beal will just make their day.

My best to your relative Dime.

I don’t look for that to be a fun few hours on the aggie sidelines.

I’m not calling or emailing for a while. It is just too damn depressing.

This is a gem from that thread
Getting blown out at KSU is one thing, but letting a 2-6 mediocre team with suspect coaching and talent not on the level as ours beat you is not an acceptable thing.

Being down 59-0 five minutes into the second half against KSU is apparently acceptable.

That Patrick Peterson is some player

I like our corners, but that guy is something else.

I dunno, better than A Will?

He’s got longer arms though. Like Monkey Wells.

Aaron Williams is my favorite defensive player

Over Thomas. Over Kindle. Over Muck.

But man, Peterson…Trevard Lindley…Eric Berry…Major Wright/Joe Haden…the SEC secondary playmakers are visually impressive.

I see what you're saying

But a lot of those guys have had a few more years of weight training and experience than ours.

Berry is just a generational freak. He’s like someone distilled the best of the Miami safeties of the early part of the decade.

Agreed

Our secondary will be sick next year, especially if Thomas stays.

Eric Berry is my favorite non-Longhorn. I’ve liked what I saw of Peterson in previous LSU games; this one is just reaffirming my point.

Give me Williams or Thomas any day of the week
20pt. lead for Stanford

Keep chopping wood, boys.

OSU-PSU took over Okie St on ABC

OSU up 24-7. Will likely rickroll Iowa next week. Buckeyes in the driver’s seat to be in the BCS again.

Bama FG

15-13 LSU

Les Miles would like to have that two point try back
Not to get ahead, but as we look ahead to a possible MNC appearance...

would anyone else be giddy about playing Les Miles for the whole thing?

no doubt

but could you imagine the pain of losing to LSU in the baseball and football national championships?

Everyone in my family but me went to LSU . . .

. . . so I’d rather not imagine that pain. My mom is a particularly vicious trash-talker.

hahahahaha

that’s awesome

My favorite part of LSU trash talk is that they will trash talk anyone, anywhere

They’re almost like a fun, drunken version of Aggies.

omg, + a million

i was in london over the summer while the CWS was being played, on a tour of the Tower, wearing burnt orange naturally… and some dude comes up to me and says “You know We’re gonna win tonight, right?”

Aggies without the self-righteousness.

They’re jsut there to have fun.

Exactly, which makes them lovable instead of annoying and deserving of scorn.
Loveable yes, fun to party with, sure, unavoidable in Houston, certainly,

but I still wish we had deated them in the CWS.

i would

partially as was stated before for baseball revenge. really i’d take anybody though. mostly florida, actually, to have a shot at knocking urb & squareface jesus off their blocks

Safety is the difference in the game
shepard's fun to watch

too bad he went outta state

I agree

he would be great as a WR for us ;)

I'd hate to watch GD waste his talent away as a backup QB for 2 years and then switch to WR a little to late
He wants to play QB

Not like he was going to beat out Gilbert

Exactly

So we’d get to watch him play mop-up duty and only get to display his talents for a year or so.

Wake ties it up with Georgia Tech
LOL 12 again!? hahaha
jk
stellar player management there.
Don't believe Danielson

He’s a moron

Fourth down for Oregon

Come on, Stanford. Double them up like a couple of Hilton sisters.

really missed Charles Scott there.
Cody's the new Ted Johnson
For you FCS fans, Nova just scored with :59 remaining to go on top of Richmond 21-20

This looks to doom the Richmond Spiders 17 game winning streak.

Well...

That was easy for Alabama.

SEC SEC SEC Defense!
Julio Jones TD for Bama

Damn

i got a similar type of feeling to the crabtree catch from last year

not on a personal level, mind you, but man, hate to see missed opportunities for the D like that.

Wow, crap play.

I thought he would be out of bounds to be sure, but I guess not.

Completely blown defense.

I'm holding out hope for LSU

A touchdown still puts them ahead. I’ve come to really dislike that school, but it’s a lesser-of-two-evils situation.

Regardless, UT should be ranked ahead of ’Bama by a wider margin tomorrow.

Richmond drives the field in less than a minute and misses 23 yd FG for win.

Winning streak over.

I missed it

What happened to Jefferson?

messed up a foot or ankle, something, just saw it wrapped
LSU going through the typical Miles Meltdown
Unless LSU's D does something

I think this one is over. Lee is way overmatched.

Anybody else starting to feel like alabama is playing on borrowed time?

not like, Iowa level, but.. somehow i feel like theyre destined to go down somewhere down the line

This is the best half of football they have played in quite some time. This is a HUGE confidence booster for them.
I still think thier game @ Auburn

has trap written all over it

what happened to holliday running back kicks like madness?

seems like that used to be the norm

goddamn i hate punter penalties

none more irritating to me

running into the kicker

4th and inches…. go for it

Nice call

direct snap to Ingram

NICE

hope he gets that pick

They need to review this...
thats a pick
In most leagues, yes

But this is the SEC, and Alabama is the higher-ranked team.

come on...

LSU needs this

should be complete. foot down in bounds as he established possession
oh boy

here comes another SEC officiating controversy. who gets $30k fine this week?

I think he's in

But let’s see what these SEC officials do with it.

That's a tough one to overturn...

I think it is going to stay with what is called on the field..Not enough evidence t overturn either way.

I concur

I think it’s an INT but I think they confirm the ruling on the field

I think it's clear his left foot, at the least, is down when he has the ball

But we’ll see.

had possession on the first foot.
bullshit
double. not indisputable. we all saw the same damn replay. BS.
Looks like Miles is getting the fine
thats an int in the nfl
Rough call.

I thought that was enough to overturn, but… well.

Haha

Of course. Like I said, ’Bama is the higher-ranked team.

Is there an eye-rolling emoticon?

Boy...

I wonder If Miles get fined for that one? I am on hook with a “Yes”

Julio Jones:

I’m a lot more talented than I play.

A poor man's Malcolm Williams
A rich man's John Chiles
Heh

A poor Malcolm, when Malcolm’s playing like he has the last two games.

Damn I’m so happy that kid’s finally playing up to his potential. The big drop was a pisser, but he’s giving future opponents a lot more worry.

How big was the 2pt conversion if Alabama kicks the FG....
Game.

Yet another SEC officiating controversy.

ballgame

Or rather, the non-INT was the ballgame.

nice going there, zebras

coulda lost your prized pig!

Oregon

Has pulled to within six points of Stanford, now 48-42, 2:38 remaining.

Probably going to go for the on-side kick here.

Over 1,000 yards between these teams today.
Georgia Tech finally wins on OT
Yep, I was pulling for Wake

But I do like Paul Johnson, and I love to see the option doing well.

He has championship caliber backs

And just an astoundingly dysfunctional offensive line. It will be interesting to see what happens when the line turns around.

I think he's still dealing with a different style of linemen

Gailey’s offensive scheme called for a very different type of run-blocking.

TCU statement game: 55-12 of SDSU
And more...

Illegal hands to the face uncalled. Les Miles is going to say something and get fined.

Sometimes it's worth it

The SEC is cooking the books, big-time.

Another blatant Alabama penalty missed.

Awesome. Leads to a sack.

Gerhart's grinding out the clock for Stanford

Need to convert on 3rd and 5, as a 1st down essentially ends the game.

Gerhart has 222yds., a new Stanford single-game record.

Gerhart is more deserving of the Heisman than Ingram.

But that’s just based on stats and how much I love Gerhart.

Then again...

If an Alabama fan wants to minimize that would-be Int, he could simply say, “It doesn’t matter. Jarrett Lee sucks.” And I might agree.

on further review...

that dropped INT by alabama actually was an INT

love, the SEC

wow, so i said that BEFORE the next INT

fucking Jarrett Lee

Oregon loses to Stanford

after soundly defeating USC. The world is coming to and end!

I'm pulling for Stanford over USC later this month

Could be a nice time for Schadenfreude.

Stanford's kicker nails a 48yd. FG

Puts ‘em ahead 51-42. That’s pretty much ballgame. Great job, Cardinal!

ugh, I despise SEC chicks
I'm not really sure how you get there
The tall, hairsprayed hair

With the faces that just scream dirty south accent.

Ah

You obviously haven’t hung out with those who eschew the warpaint.

Apparently not.

Do they not speak like they come from Alabama?

type "poon of the sec" into your interwebs browser

Lotsa talent in that part of the country. I think they drown the ugly girls at birth at Ole Miss

Thanks for the lead

Just as long as they don’t talk, most of those chicks would do the trick.

Happy to be of service.

Good luck with that, chicks tend to talk no matter where you are. If you’re lucky enough, they’ll talk to you.

Around here the trick is to stay away from Baltimoron chicks

Marylanders have an odd accent at times, but it’s very limited in its manifestations (basically just overemphasis of the letter “O”). Baltimorons are barely intelligible, and tend to look like they’re straight out of a Wal-Mart in Mississippi.

Yeah D.C./Baltimore isn't even playing the same sport

There’s nothing better that a surpy sweet deep south accent on a hot coed. I’m from here tho, so I’m biased

Deep south bothers me a ton in women.

With dudes, not so much. I don’t mind even a strong Texan accent, though. It’s much different.

S'ok, more for me.

Just don’t tell my wife

My wife is far more tolerant of southern accents than I am

She lived in Atlanta awhile, it seems.

Atlanta = barely the south

I’m talking LA/MS/AL

I have family around Lake Charles

And it gets pretty ugly. It makes my dad’s Beaumont relatives seem positively refined.

The one on the right

For the way a baby doll dress falls over her hips.

Crap

Apparently we can’t post pics from that site. It wasn’t so much that they were hot as that they were carrying a cooler.

And a grill

Must’ve been in pre-grooler days.

Fun Fact:

Nick Saban got the orginal site shut down for posting pics of his underage niece.
Yes, they were SFW

Are we now looking at a possible USC-OSU Rose Bowl?

Gag.

just cant keep those two kids apart
Oregon-USC

Unless Oregon loses again. Could easily happen vs. Oregon State, I guess.

Then again, USC could easily lose again as well. At any rate, as long as Oregon doesn’t lose more conference games than USC does over these last few weeks, Oregon will be in the Rose Bowl.

As if the first game between them this season didn't bore you to death...

I am sure this one definitely will with all the Barkley comments.

Arizona's still in the conversation too

Foles has been lights out this season. Reppin WHS, go Chaps!

Has the SEC said anything about Spikes yet?

The self-suspension is a joke. I’d like to see what the league or NCAA is going to do about him.

league said that Myer's 1/2 game suspension

was enough earlier in the week…

I missed the statement.

Well, that’s the consequence-free conference for you.

said that since Meyer took care of it in house

they thought it was enough…

Well that and Tebow absolved him of course…..

Yep. They wondered why he was suspended at all. They AFU.
The sec is a joke

The system is rigged to get Bama and Florida into the SEC title game undefeated..

im thinking matter/anti-matter style explosion when the two of them finally meet

should be fun to see how the officials get creative for that one

It's a snoozefest for the evening games

Unless Vandy steps up and drives like this all game long, Cincy vs. UConn might be the best matchup to watch.

Agreed. That's asking alot from Vandy..

Would love to see it but highly doubt they can keep it close.

So Notre Dame’s out of the BCS at least. That’s a great thing. And I have to wonder about Weis.

Where does he go if he’s fired? I know a few UT fans who are looking for a new OC…

It would give us a decided schematic advantage...
I should probably emphasize that I wouldn't want him as a full-blown OC

I’d like him to be the co-OC and in charge of playcalling or something, with Davis as the co-OC and QBs coach.

No chance it happens, though. Weis could write his check at a lot of lesser programs, and even if he wanted to come to Texas, Mack probably wouldn’t accept his offensive style, nor would he want to demote Davis.

Nothing I've seen from Weis would encourage me to hire his fat ass.

Pretty much a bust at the college level

+1

And I’m an ND fan. I don’t want him screwing up my #1 favorite team too.

I don't know if we can be friends
Sorry I didn't consult you before choosing a grad school

I always cheer for Texas if and when they play each other, if it makes you feel better.

That's okay, if you are in ND grad school,

then you’ll be able to fire me soon.

Is it just me or do Florida fans seems an awful lot like Sooner fans?
uneducated rednecks?
...and fat chicks?
Not all are fat

when he said OU fans, I naturally thought....

ugh, Florida TD
Did you see Tebow just will Demps to the endzone?
Demps: "Thy will be done."
Nebraska-OU game about to kick off
what would you rather have in Jerry World?

Colt getting his number back with KSU? A little flashback with Nebraska?

I hope to see nothing approaching that level of necessity in the conference championship game

Heck, or ever.

the necessity in ’96 is certainly not applicable, but man… that was a great day. I hurt myself jumping off the couch.

I can't stand Neb

so KSU…..

Funny poster

Even
Spikes
Passed on
vaNdy

hahaha

thats pretty good.

So.... Who you got in the Neb/OU game and Why?

OU… Can’t stand Neb after aving to deal with my wife’s family from Lincoln…

OU

cause they’re better. But, yeah, I hear the in-law thing. Mine are huge Tide fans. Kinda crazy around here today.

I have to root for OU to stay alive in my pool

Ugh.

NEVER

never will root for OU, pool or not. Mine too, but I can’t actually root for them.

Have OU in ESPN Pick'em

but would gladly give up the 4 points for them to have 4 losses.

btw

It’s 7:21pm………

And I suck for having to root for OU?
Why would you root for OU?

Do you not like Pelini or something?

No, I picked OU in my knockout pool . . .

. . . and I’ve done poorly enough elsewhere (thanks, PSU!) that I need an OU win to stay alive. That, plus ASU not losing by more than 11.

ballsy to litterally say that out loud.
what's the spread on OU?
I have them straight up in my pool
I will never root for OU, no matter what

.

Holy crap, did anyone else see the Cal TD?
Took 16 minutes to get Best stabilized and loaded up on cart.

Looked horrible.

Yeah, it looked awful

I can’t remember anyone else getting that high and landing like that

alright. time for uchi.

pretty inconsequential games at this point for rest of night.

Jahvid Best hurt in Cal game

looks scary. They had to apply an oxygen mask on him.

Was there any movement?
All I know is he was launched in the air and came down badly
Yeah, on his neck/head and shoulder...Boy was high off the ground.
OU Field Goal kicker sucking it up early on..
Children of the Corn

giving this game to OU with simple stupidity.

that was a creepy ass movie
God damn

just saw the Cal highlight. Best went for the TD and tried to dive in for the score. Oregon St. guy launches him up, and Best falls awkwardly on his head.

Will be surprised if he plays at all for the rest of the season.

Henery's a great combo kicker/punter

Nebraska’s playing great ball on STs and on defense. Too bad the offense isn’t helping.

The wheels are coming off for the land thieves
They are both looking like SEC powerhouse offenses at this point.
Suh for Heisman
He's having a great season

But on that play, any scrub could’ve gotten in there. The center literally stepped aside to let him through to the QB.

Neb, don't give this one away.
I hope we don't play NU in the Big 12 CG

NU’s defense + GD’s play-calling = potential disaster

potential, yes

but we got it.

I wouldn't worry

NU isn’t really that good, no matter what you see today. And GD isn’t that bad.

INT! 1st and GOAL Nebraska!
NEBRASKA PICKS IT OFF!

Down at the OU 1 yard line

TD!!! NU
That might be the game... haha
NU now have double digit total yards!
Tim Tebow is AMAZING

At halftime he went to Washington D.C. to bless the health care bill providing health care for all… What a patriot….He cares so much for everyone….And now he is back in time to quarterback God’s team….What a guy…College Football will never be the same when he leaves….

i think i just threw up a little in my mouth
i hope...

you sensed the sarcasm….lol

So he sacrificed himself

Just like real Jesus. You see, back when he was busy slashing foreskin off little boys’ penises in the Phillipines (because the Bible told him to do it) he said, in an interview, that he wanted to go to “surgery school” after college. But what WWJD didn’t realize was that the new health care bill will basically make it impossible for him to have lucrative career slicing and dicing foreskin, so he might not make a God-like amount of money after “surgery school.” Tebow irritates the sh*t out of me and there is no nicer way to say it.

Cincinnati/TCU

Who is better

Are you serious?

TCU is probably better than Bama.

TCU has more talent

But I think Brian Kelly’s the better coach.

In the end, I think homefield advantage would be the difference between the two. Probably Cincy at a neutral site.

no way
Why do you say that?

Cincy’s having a down year, but they’d beat up TCU if they had Pike back, and it’d be a very close game even without him.

Should clarify:

Cincy’s having a down year in terms of talent. They lost a TON from last year. But Brian Kelly’s an almost unequaled coach, and he’s made a lot out of nothing. I think they do the best job at adjustments out of anyone in the country, and I think they’d beat TCU.

I’m honestly not sure what’s so impressive about TCU, other than the record. That is, although I think they do deserve to be ranked about where they are, I’d like to hear a case for why people think they’re better than Cincinnati. Is it because they’re from Texas?

That's hypothetical

arguing that if they had Pike and having a down year in talent. Sure, if they had the active roster they wanted, but they don’t.

TCU is good, and it’s not because they’re from Texas (or anything having to do with the SWC). As of last week, and maybe again this week, they have the #1 total defense and #12 total offense. You could argue about their schedule, but it is certainly tougher than Cincy’s and TCU has beaten the shit out of most of their opponents.

I would not be the least bit surprised to see Cincy lose at Pitt. Brian Kelly may be a good coach, but he doesn’t have the talent – injuries/grads regardless. TCU is tough with a lot of talent, and while they may not be better than Bama (see above), they deserve more of a shot than the other undefeateds, which I guess is now only Boise and Cincy.

Bearcats

Impressive display tonight

Do you mean, who's better Cincy or UConn?

That’s a little closer, apparently.

Ryan Broyles

Best land-thieving WR since Clayton

Landry Jones throws a mean pass

Especially when no one but Cornhuskers are open.

Houston's losing at Tulsa after 3
anyword on jahvid best???
Movement in all extremities, suffered a concussion
Ugly fact of the night:

USC will probably be ranked ahead of Oregon tomorrow. They only dropped to 12th, and Oregon just lost to effing Stanford. Neither one should be ranked 12th or better, but USC will almost certainly climb to the top ten.

Sadly USC could be BCS bound after-all

hope they get creamed by TCU/Cinn

Boise was a big winner today

The Iowa and PSU losses mean that the Big 10 will not have a one-loss at-large team available. And Notre Dame’s loss eliminates the Irish.

Assuming TCU gets the automatic bid and that the SEC championship game loser is a lock for an at-large, Boise will be fighting it out with a second team from each of the five major conferences, but it’s hard to imagine a second team from the Big XII or the Big East, and Miami seems to be the only plausible second team from the ACC. So quite possibly two of the following three get in: an undefeated Boise, a two-loss Pac Ten team and a two-loss Big Ten team.

funny to think BSU was a big winner

they struggled with freaking LA Tech

And their big scalp lost today as well

But through natural attrition, they might get in by default

doesn't matter

BCS ain’t gonna take Boise unless the rules require it. They’ll take Iowa if Hawkeyes lose to Ohio State, Buckeyes if Iowa should win. They’d take a 2-loss Penn State. And if Miami wins out, and they damn sure should looking at their schedule, the Orange Bowl would take their 10-2 before a 13-0 Boise.

I didn’t say this is right . . .

It'd be a shame if they went

They probably won’t get the automatic bid for the Rose Bowl, most likely. However, I guess it’s possible that they’ll get one of the at-large bids. Kinda sucks. The Big 12 probably doesn’t get a second BCS bid, by the way, unless Okie Lite gets help.

Likely bowl lineup, as it stands now:

BCS Championship Texas vs. Florida/Alabama winner
Sugar Bowl at-large vs. at-large or Cinci
Orange Bowl Georgia Tech vs. at-large or Cinci
Rose Bowl Arizona/Oregon winner vs. Ohio State/Iowa winner
Fiesta Bowl at-large vs. at-large or Cinci

As it stands, TCU would probably get the automatic bid. The at-large candidates, as I see it, are as follows:

UF/Bama loser
Boise State (BCS #6 tomorrow, I think)
USC (BCS #9 or #10 tomorrow)
Pittsburgh (#10 or #9)
Ohio State (#13 or #14)

LSU, Oregon, Utah, Okie Lite could all have outside shots.

With UT and UF/Bama winner in the BCS Championship, the Sugar and Fiesta would have first choice of the at-large teams. The Sugar would take the Florida/Bama loser. The Fiesta would be harder to peg, but I’d guess USC would be their first pick. Ugh. After that, the at-large selection order begins, and it goes Orange, Fiesta, Sugar.

Orange has Georgia Tech, and I think they’d go for the biggest money program, meaning Ohio State. The Fiesta would probably take Cincinnati. The Sugar wouldn’t take LSU to match up with the UF/Bama winner, so they’d probably end up with one of Oregon, Boise State, Pittsburgh, Okie Lite, or Utah. I would guess Oregon, believe it or not.

Pitt won't be an at-large

They’ll either be the one-loss Big East Champ or a two-loss, Gator Bowl bound team. And I don’t see a one-loss Cincinnati getting an at-large over an undefeated Boise.

Cincinnati wouldn't be one-loss

I did this assuming an automatic bid for Cincinnati. Basically, I assumed the higher-ranked team would win in all future matchups, except for listing tOSU/Iowa and UF/Bama as either/or.

Cincinnati would be the Big East champ, and thus have an automatic bid. That’s why I kept putting “at-large or Cinci” in the bowl slots. The Big East doesn’t have a BCS bowl tie-in anymore.

The winner of the Big East is automatically in the BCS
And I quote:
Cincinnati would be the Big East champ, and thus have an automatic bid. That’s why I kept putting "at-large or Cinci" in the bowl slots. The Big East doesn’t have a BCS bowl tie-in anymore.
Ah

Misread “The Big East doesn’t have a BCS bowl tie-in anymore.”

I think the Big East used to have an Orange Bowl tie-in

Now they’re kind of homeless, which is weird.

Also, LSU can't be an at-large

Only two teams per conference.

That's right

So they’re eliminated for almost all intents and purposes. Basically, UF or Bama would have to drop like a rock, at least two games, for LSU to have a shot.

USC only up 14-9 over AZ St

15:00 4th

And that score can remain exactly like that as far as I am concerned.
OU misses another FG!
OU misses their third FG of the night

And Trent Williams is having false starts left and right. The OU line is in shambles right now.

3rd INT for Jones..
So, any thoughts on how UT would math up with Neb if they made it to the title game?

I can’t tell how much of this is poor offense and how much is good D

We'd kick their ass in calculus and algebra

I think we have them in Diffy Q also

i am starting to think the "C" is going out on my keyboard
OU vs Neb

Good Lord. Is this what is was like for the less interested people watching UT vs OU? This game is horrible. It is slightly better than Auburn over Miss St 3-2….

Your right

no offense at all… its embarrassing, i dont know how much of this is good defense at this point.

Watch OU somehow pull this one out..
If not...they are still the best 4 loss team in the country..

Is that what they’re gonna tell the recruits?

It's true.

Anyone else get the same “High School Football” feeling during the LSU-Bama game?

After the 76th time McElroy missed a wide open receiver and LSU had a first down called back on a penalty I decided that there are just no “powerhouse” conferences this year.

i hate to bring up the “refs are bought” argument in football, but the officiating in the lsu-bama game today was horrific.
i do not believe that bama is in the top 3 in the nation, not when you need help against an lsu team with no qb.

Ha ha. Dougherty style?

Earlier in the Florida-Vandy game, one of the announcers was saying something like, “you really gotta respect Mike Slive (SEC commissioner) for having the guts to put an end to this referee-questioning”

That was priceless.

murray

seems to be carrying OU.

haha

OU goes for it on fourth down at the nebraska 20 and doesnt make it.

C'mon, Huskers

Put up another TD, so I can feel safer hoping for a Broyles TD in garbage time.

Wow, UConn, is a two-point conversion away from tying

What the hell happened here? Cincy was up by 20!

Todman's grinding out the yards
Frick, Henery

Screwing both my anti-OU sentiments and my fantasy team.

Err...this is in response to the missed FG just now.
This is the ballgame here for OU
Houston is down 45-43 to Tulsa

Three seconds left, at the Tulsa 32. Looks like their only choice is a FG attempt. 49yd. kick, with a weak kicking game.

Couldn't tell they have a weak kicking game by the look of that kick..
No kidding. Kid pulled that kick out of his arse.
Down goes OU...
Dear Oklahoma,

How does it feel to have four losses by the first weekend in November? I can’t remember.

Sincerely,

Texas

that pretty much assures we get

Huskers in December, right? Assuming they don’t gag to K-State.

I think better to say that we will most likely get the Nebraska-KSU winner
This is correct

As long as Nebraska beats KU and CU, and KSU beats Mizzou.

No, not by a longshot.

Nebraska is down in the standings.

Neb is the likely opponent

They are essentially tied with Kstate (they have 1 less win, but have played 1 less game). They play each other in 2 weeks. It is AT Nebraska, so I think they would be pretty favored. They could even lose to one of KU/CU and still be the North rep as long as they beat KSU and win the other game.

As is explained, it'll almost certainly be the KSU-Nebraska winner
WOW! Houston wins!
unfreaking real finish in UH-Tulsa

9 points in the last 25 seconds, the onside kick deal, a 51-yard FG as time runs out!!!!!!!!

Keenum for Heisman campaign

only gets stronger

Dear Jackson Jeffcoat:

Hey bud, wanna come to Austin?

Ha ha. He should definitely go to OU or LSU.
Well, OU's not dead quite yet . . .
if OU loses,

will they be the best four-loss team?

Guaranteed....
Can ASU put together a 2 minute 83 yard TD drive to beat USC here?
I sure hope so

Would be awesome to send US packing.

Wow, almost another interception by Nebraska. Hit the Husker right in the hands.

5 INT for the stache...
looked like he just didn't really care who would catch the fotball
I think that was actually the playcall

If you noticed, all the targets were way, way downfield. That was just a major brainfart on the coaching staff’s sake. They played that snap like it was time for a last-second hail mary, but they had time to actually put together a few plays.

Yeah, he looked awful tonight..
Sealed it

Interception. Man, Landry just threw a jump ball. They had plenty of time left that they could’ve actually worked to move the chains.

You could have just typed that out five minutes ago and then waited for the inevitable pick.

What's OU's excuse now?

their first three losses were close against ranked teams. Now what?

injuries...rebuilding year...
Probably use the BYU excuse again

“It wasn’t a fair game because it wasn’t in Norman.”

all NU's points are from TO's

like there are 9000+ points…

If there's one major area of concern if we play Nebraska

It’s Suh. Holy crap, what a monster. He obliterated OU’s line.

Agree Wholeheartedly

I would have the hurry up ready – see what kind of shape he is in.

ASU gets one, MAYBE two plays to hit the end zone against USC.

It’d be nice to knock off the condoms.

Ugh

ASU receivers didn’t even get to the end zone on that hail mary. No speed or something.

One hell mary here for the game..
I love hail mary passes with no receivers downfield myself
love the selfish USC players fighting each other for the INT..
What do you think about Landry Jones in 10?

He flashed some potential – but looks like he will be a huge drop from Sam. Key question: Will Jones with some significant playing time be better than GG in the RRS?

He'll be legit.

Not as deadly as Bradford, though.

I think he would've been about as good if he'd had the same line Bradford had his FR/SO yrs.
I'll take my chances with GG anyday..
I think Gilbert will have more blinders on

Jones will have at least one top-notch target in Broyles, and a few decent options elsewhere. Murray could even return. But the line will probably be worse, not better, without Trent Williams and Brody Eldridge. Sure they have youngsters there, but it’s a bad line right now.

Gilbert should have some nice targets as well, but it’s hard to know how the line’s going to look next year. Can Mack, Mac, and Davis cobble together a line around the remnants of what’s already a disappointing line this season? Huey, Snow, and Hix will be back. So can Allen, Poehlmann, Walters, Kelley, et al form a decent unit?

Would Think Murray Would Go

Hard to believe he could watch what happened to Gresh and Sam and come back. Especially given his track record with injuries. He stayed healthy, he carried the team, he should leave. Broyles is definitely top notch.

If GG > Jones ...

The current 4 outta 5 run by the Horns could get delightfully ugly for OU.

GG is a better runner than most people know...

That in itself will be what separates him from Jones. I really think that Blake Bell will eventually beat out Jones after Bell gets a year in the program. The future is looking bright from here. Especially if we get Jeffcoat and Hicks.

Unless Landry is injured...

…I don’t expect to see much of Bell until 2013. Jones has a big arm and has done pretty well. Bell’s not so good that he’ll unseat a vastly more experienced guy with about the same level of talent.

If Landry keeps playing like he is now, they will have no choice but to try someone else..

That was a horrible game. 5 INT.

Bell would've been much worse at this point

Imagine that kid behind a line that was already not very good, but also missing two guys. One guy was out because of a death in the family, and another was out with a short-term injury. Think Bell would’ve done anything? Sam Bradford himself wouldn’t have had time to breathe.

Jones looked scattershot when he had all day to throw. No touch.
When did he have all day to throw?

Not Saturday against Nebraska. Suh was in his face all day long.

The one scary aspect of GG

is the same we’ve had about Colt, really, his entire career — who the hell steps in if he gets hurt?

Gilbert will have either an almost-never-used Sh. Harris or a true frosh behind him next year. If GG makes 12 starts in 2010, we should win 9-10 games and could do better than that. If he were to miss half the season . . .

I'd feel pretty comfortable with fifth-year senior Harris behind him

I think Sherrod could drive the bus pretty well. He wouldn’t put up huge offensive numbers or anything, but he’s not so bad that it’d be like having to turn to Jarrett Lee.

I think a lot of next year revolves much more around what we do with our O-line, not so much our QB situation. Even if GG is the better athalete in the long run, whoever plays QB next year will be a step down from Colt simply because of al of his experience. You can’t just plug someone in and replace his relationships with the WRs, his leadership, ect. So, whoever goes in, a lot (more) of their success will depend on the OL. We were fortunate McCoy’s first year that our Oline did a good job of protecting Colt.

Colt's Stats

Wow. I hadn’t realized how different his stats were this year. I knew last year was crazy, but I hadn’t put it into perspective.

-Colt accounted for 45 Tds in 13 games last year
-If we play in the MNC, Colt is on pace to account for 28. Twenty. Eight.

Wow. That is a huge difference. And I should add that I think Colt is having a good year. He’s made a few more mistakes, and he’s probably been held back a bit by play calling and personel (wrong set of starting WRs), but he’s still having a really good year.

His Best Accomplishments Are "Lifetime Achievement" Awards

Sort of like the guys who get honorary Oscars when they are about to croak – even though they were like 0-7 when nominated in their prime.

Colt should be able to ride these facts to the Heisman:
1. Should be all time winningnest QB in CFB history (that good)
2. Should be all time most accurate QB in CFB history (that real good too)
3. Horns should be undefeated (really more of a defensive accomplishment)

Coaches Real Conservative With Running Game this year

Actually, bullet number 2 doesn’t care if we play in the MNC. We are all but locked into the big 12 title game, and are locked into a bowl game.

So Florida or Bama in the Championship game?

And has anyone heard Stoops excuse with this piss poor excuse of a lost?
