There are now just three weeks left in the regular season and another week of conference tournaments before Selection Sunday on March 15th. This season has been dominated by the ACC and the Big East and the top seeds reflect this too. Nine of my top 12 overall seeds come from these two leagues. Here are my ‘educated’ guesses at the top 16 teams in the NCAA tournament.
I will start posting my top seeds on Mondays. These are if the season ended today and are listed by strength within each seed as well.
No. 1: Connecticut, Oklahoma, Pittsburgh, North Carolina
No. 2: Michigan Sate, Memphis, Louisville, Duke
No. 3: Clemson, Villanova, Wake Forest, Marquette
No. 4: Xavier, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois
Next Four: Washington, UCLA, Arizona St, Purdue
Big 12 Bids (5)
Lock: Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri
Likely: Texas
Bubble: Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Baylor
Thoughts?

I'll say 4 teams get in
KSU’s non-conference is going to haunt them.

Kansas over Mizzou?
Kansas has name appeal, but Mizzou has the better team as of right now.

Yes they are
Pomeroy really likes them too. Really well balanced with defense and offense. It’ll be interesting to see how far they can get in the tourney.
