Big 12 update

Texas Tech took the second half of today’s doubleheader from Oklahoma 5-1. Texas is now only one half game behind the Sooners heading into next weekend’s showdown in Austin.

Kansas State scored two in the bottom of the ninth to take a 4-3 win and a 2-1 series win over Texas A&M. Texas is now one full game in front of A&M.

Baylor lost to Missouri last night, but won in 11 innings in the first half of today’s doubleheader. The rubber game of the series will be played tonight. A Baylor win would draw the Bears even with Texas at 9-6 in Big 12 play, and a loss would even them with A&M at 8-7.
