Masters Day 1 Open Thread

I've got a laughable amount of work to do today, but don't kid yourself: I'll have the soothing sights and sounds of Masters coverage to keep me company. Fellow enthusiasts drop your thoughts here. Vegas has Tiger a 2:1 favorite. Who do you like to don this year's green jacket?

You almost have to go with Woods here. Its either Woods or an unknown. I dont believe that any of the prominent golfers have a chance.

Great thread, PB

It’s killing me that I’m in class all day, but thank goodness for online streaming.

I watched Mickelson last week in Houston and unless he gets things together in a major way, he doesn’t have a chance this weekend. I’m still skeptical about picking Woods, and I damn sure don’t think he’s 2:1 (seriously!!!), but you can’t doubt The Great One.

My pick is Ogilvy. He was on fire for a while in Houston last week and if he can maintain that, he can win. Good ball striker, long enough to play Augusta, and a great putter.
