You gotta throw f’in strikes. 8 balls and 1 strike to close the game. And they weren’t even close calls. At some point, somebody in that bullpen needed to throw strikes and they couldn’t find anyone. They are SO done.

It sucks for the pitchers who do their jobs and can’t get any help from their defense. But when the pitcher takes things out of their teammates’ hands by being so far off target that even an umpire like that one can’t call strikes, I feel no sympathy.
