We just haven’t done anything to win since about the 7th inning. This team needs to make up their minds that they’re going to win this and just do it. They keep effing around and it’s about to bite them square on the ass.
It’s easy to assign fault at the end of the game. Certainly, I would have kept Austin Wood in the game simply because of his seniority. However, when they put Jungmann in, I would have said that it was a sound move. I certainly did not expect him to throw 6 balls, and I certainly feel that two of them were firm strikes that the umpire refused to give him.
Yeah, our pitching got a lot more shaky towards the end of the game, but the perspective of it at the time is important to consider.
