9:01 Fowler kicks us off with, "Revenge is a dish best served burnt orange." It's gonna be that kind of a show.
9:04 Big crowd of UT supporters gathered on the lawn. Desmond wearing a fine cowboy hat. Lee's suntan is Possessive Copper.
9:09 Fowler interviews Kiffin, finds four different ways to ask him if he feels as stupid as he sounds.

9:15 Gene Chizik Wired. Where's the part where he quits on his team midseason?
9:20 Incredible that Lee Corso is out there after suffering a minor stroke. Impressive.
9:26 Bevo "drops a message" for Texas Tech.
9:29 Corso highlights the BYU screen game; Texas fans are lost. Screen?
9:33 Great "under pressure" stat about Max Hall.
9:45 Damnit, Les Miles was nothing short of likable there. Huh.
9:55 Sign: "Even Lou Holtz Could Graduate From Tech"
10:01 Mack with one of the best non-answer answers of all time.
10:04 Fowler compares Kiffin to an out-of-control Kanye West.
10:12 Okay, y'all are on your own; I'm off to work on the TV schedule.

Remember the Alamo!
Make sure you remind Fowler of this.

Chris Fowler called Austin his favorite college town and visits in the offseason. He is not the enemy.

Is it weird....
That I can remember when College Gameday was just an hour long, “The Pony” Craig James was the ex-college player, and they never left the ESPN studios? Boy how things have changed.
TexasGarcia37 - September 19, 2009
I can remember
when Craig James was doing sports on a local news station in the D/FW metroplex. I cannot remember what station, but that is where he got his start. I remember when Gameday was an hour long to, then it went to 90 minutes up until it went to what it is now a few years back.

Crompton
Hey, Kiffin said Crompton had a good week of practice — he’ll be fine. Nothing like a week of practice to cure massive suck. Uh yeah.
Wescott Eberts (GoBR) - September 19, 2009
I think it is funny
how everybody in Lubbock has forgotten all the crap he put Tech and the fans through with his contract dispute during the offseason. I guess they remember how bad it was before Leach ever showed up. Man I wanted Leach to leave so bad, him and Stoops have got to be the two worst men in college football.
HornsRiverine - September 19, 2009
I would have to disagree on Leach.
He’s interesting, in the crazy lawyer/pirate coach sense. You have to wonder what he’s going to say next, and that’s healthy.
run Bevo run - September 19, 2009
Sorry I cannot stand the man
he and Stoops are exactly alike, they are complete assholes and they do not even hide it. Especially how Leach voted last year because he and Stoops are buddies. I cannot stand either one of them.
HornsRiverine - September 19, 2009
Plus
Even though Leach comes from the Stoops Farm, He always has a way of distruptin the Big 12. Last year happen to be the year that it hurt us in a big way, but how many times before has he beat the big team that end up helping us in the end, or at least hurting OU.

Genius Ticket Sign
for all the listeners of the Ticket in Dallas look for the black sign that has little Literian with his genius quote “It’s fun to do bad things” on the front and “Uh, Paul in ….” on the back. That person deserves a beer.
TexasGarcia37 - September 19, 2009
hahah, genius indeed
But I’m not sure what the “Uh, Paul in…” sign is referring to?
longhornricky - September 19, 2009
Really?!
You haven’t heard that bit of gold. During the 9/11 moment of silence, Gubb of the musers got confused and thought they were taking calls. So Gubb was the only person on the radio in the US during the 9/11 moment of silence when he uttered the now infamous line “Uh, Paul in…”

one & only love that Heisman sign and I really do hope Colt will get that trophy in Dec. Also, I went to Nissan/Sport Illustrated tailgate(Thanks PB) picked up 3 magazines all free with Earl Campell and James Brown autographs. They also allow everyone to take picture with the Heisman trophy. And then, I played some fun trivia games and won a new t-shirt. Great fun with the kids on that tailgate party….
