This is a great you tube video taken from the 1995 McDonald's All-American Slam Dunk Contest. Features Vince Carter, Paul Pierce, and future (at the time) Longhorn Kris Clack.
He’s one of the reasons I became a big fan of the basktball team. He had such an effortless leaping abillity and was so fun to watch. I remember how despite being a guard, he always did the jump for the opening tip.
Kris is a great guy off the court, too. Had a chance a couple years ago to play hoops with him and the 8th graders I was mentoring. He talked to them about the importance of working hard and staying in school, and then we all went to the gym and played hoops.

That is right
Clack took the opening jump ball until Chris Mihm arrived.
Is Clack the greatest leaper in Texas basketball history? Certainly is in my time watching the team. And he played so hard.
