A&M student body president Jeff Pickering said the Twelfth Man should be given special consideration, particularly the Aggie Band, which, as a unit in Corps of Cadets, knows how to behave itself. "We can control a military outfit," Pickering told Patel.
Tell that to the those threatened with swords (SMU Cheerleaders), beat up (our students), horse dung thrown at them (our band if I recall), and vandalizing the playing field before the game (Agro band right before game time on our field)
Takes an Aggie to distort the impact of this. Do they really thinking the student seating will be reduced? No, it will just be rearranged. And they don’t understand why there are Aggie jokes. I for one am happy the band is not behind the opposing players.
Also a poor reflection on the SEC that the fans can’t be behind the opponents. Obviously the debris coming out of the stands or obscenities necessitated the rule.
The devil you know is better than the Devil you don’t know.
We’re going to get years of enjoyment out of their SEC! move. I’m just wondering how they’re going to spin this debacle so it’s our fault.
1. tu chose not to enter the SEC! SEC! because, as all aggies know, t-sips are pansies…
2. because tu is not in the SEC! SEC! they won’t bitch and moan about this SEC! SEC! rule effecting student seating.
3. IF tu bitches and moans about something, it gets changed.
4. Because tu and deloss dodds really are that powerful.
The Aggies are not yet officially in the SEC, but are already asking for special consideration that no other school in the SEC gets. And to top it off, it is because their band, corp, and studenst are better behaved than bands, spirit organizatins, and students from other schools. Priceless! The Ags are already fitting in well and making alot of friends in their new confereence.
Really??????

Select memory I guess

I was totally in band when we got thrown poo on.
Probably one of the most traumatizing, scumbag things anyone could ever do.

Great reflection on A&M and the SEC

You couldn't have made up something like this!
The Aggies are not yet officially in the SEC, but are already asking for special consideration that no other school in the SEC gets. And to top it off, it is because their band, corp, and studenst are better behaved than bands, spirit organizatins, and students from other schools. Priceless! Make your bets
Which SEC stadium will be the first one where the so called “well behaved Corps” get into a brawl?
My guess is Bama.
Silentjay - February 16, 2012
Who's first on their sched?
I’ll hold my bets until I see that.
