Freshman 2B Brooks Marlow began his Texas career with a bang Friday afternoon, hitting two home runs and driving in three runs in a 4-0 Texas victory. Nathan Thornhill pitched five scoreless innings and Corey Knebel finished things off with two more scoreless frames in the 7-inning opener to the doubleheader. Mark Payton added an insurance run late in the game with an RBI standup triple.
